Why Affiliation?
As per the revised guidelines released by NSDC the affiliation of Training Providers for any NSQF-aligned skill development project there is a mandatory process of affiliation as Training Provider on Skill India Portal (SIP) followed by Training Centres (TCs) accreditation on SIP.
What Is NSQF?
The National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) organizes qualifications according to a series of knowledge, skills, and aptitude levels. These levels are defined in terms of learning outcomes that the learner must possess regardless of whether they were acquired through formal, non-formal, or informal learning. In that sense, the NSQF is a quality assurance framework.

Responsibilities of Training Providers
1. Coordination
The TC needs to coordinate with and respond to the AA and SSC in a timely manner to confirm the schedule of assessment, language preferences, assessment center location or any other requirement. The TC also needs to coordinate with the Assessment Center to clarify expectations and formalities for the day of assessments, if the assessments are not conducted at the training center location.

The TC should ensure that either of the following is made available to the AA 5-7 days prior to the assessment to enable the AA to make necessary preparations for the assessment: n Biometric attendance logs and Manual attendance.
